Pat McGuire and Larry Walsh Jr. Earn Poor Grades For 1st Terms In Office - Joliet Will County Illinois General Assembly

The Illinois Opportunity Project released its 2012 Illinois State Legislative Scorecard and low and behold, District 86 holds host to an Representative (Larry Walsh Jr.) and a Senator (Pat McGuire) who earned less than spectacular grades.  See below:

ABOUT THE SCORECARD:
"The Illinois Opportunity Project has selected 16 key votes (8 in the Senate and 8 in the House) on issues that impact the families of Illinois. Each legislator received a “grade” based on how often his or her votes protected taxpayers’ interests and promoted economic growth."

The Illinois Opportunity Project seeks to promote the social good and common welfare by educating the public about public policy that is driven by the principles of liberty and free enterprise and to advocate for the advancement of such policy.

WHAT DID THE PREVIOUS REPRESENTATIVE SCORE ON SIMILAR SCORECARDS?
Representative from 2010-April 2012 (Jack McGuire D-IL Dist.86 Joliet)

What has changed in the past 2 or 4 years?  We need better representatives for District 86 in Springfield, representing our interests!
